My work is about understanding people. How experiences shape what we believe, how those beliefs influence the way we live and work, and what becomes possible when we can see them clearly. I explore those questions in writing, teaching, and workshops, and through The Richardson-Pinckney Group I help organizations strengthen the programs, processes, and people practices that support their work.

The Richardson-Pinckney Group is the organizational home for my professional work. It is where the workshops, teaching, programs, and learning resources are developed, and where organizations come for help strengthening the work they already do. Three ideas guide it.
Who are we serving?
People are the reason behind what we do. Businesses, organizations, programs, and services ultimately exist to meet human needs.
What are we trying to accomplish, and why does it matter?
Purpose keeps us from doing things simply because they can be done or because an opportunity exists.
What becomes possible when we understand the first two?
Once we know who we are serving and what we are trying to accomplish, we can consider what may be possible: seeing a situation differently, developing as a leader, strengthening a program, or taking a step that previously seemed out of reach.

Explore Writing & ResourcesThese questions deserve more than a quick answer. They ask us to consider what has shaped us, what we made those experiences mean, and whether the beliefs we carry still reflect what is true. Who you are cannot be reduced to any single role or expression of your purpose. Roles and seasons change, and part of this work is learning how to remain grounded in your identity as they do.
Maybe a role that has been central to your life is changing, and you are trying to understand who you are beyond it.
Maybe you keep responding in a way you wish you could change, but you haven't quite understood what is behind it.
Perhaps you have spent so much time meeting expectations that it has become difficult to distinguish what you believe from what you have learned to do.
Daring Woman is the part of my work created specifically for women. Through teaching, reflection, and personal application, we explore the experiences and beliefs that have influenced how we see ourselves and how we live.
The work is grounded in Christian faith and makes room for the complexity of being human. You can be grateful for your life and still have questions about it. You can trust God and still be disappointed. You can recognize your strength and also acknowledge that you need support.

I'm Dr. LaTosha Pinckney, a personal development strategist, teacher, and founder of The Richardson-Pinckney Group. I'm also a wife, a mother, and a woman whose faith is central to how I understand life.
My work has grown out of both study and experience. I know what it is to question who you are when something that has helped define you begins to change. I also know that understanding something about yourself does not mean you immediately know how to live differently. That is why I develop teaching and tools that help people move from reflection into practical choices.
That interest in how things work extends past individual lives. I am drawn to understanding why something functions the way it does, considering what could be different, developing a structure or approach, and helping people carry that work forward. It is the same instinct whether the subject is a belief someone has carried for years or a process an organization has outgrown.
